At The Well

The woman at the well shows us something deeply personal about Christ- He sees past the labels we wear and the reputations we carry. Where others saw a Samaritan, a sinner, an individual not worthy of attention, Jesus saw a beloved daughter of God. He met her right where she was, in the heat of the day, in her shame, in her thirst, and offered her living water that could change everything.
 
Her story reminds us that no past mistake, no rumor, and no broken piece of our lives disqualifies us from His love. When Christ looks at us, He doesn’t see our failures first; He sees our divine worth.
 
What strikes me most is that His interaction with her wasn’t what the world thought she deserved, or even what she believed she was worthy of. Where others offered judgment, He offered love. Where she expected rejection, He extended grace.
 
For those who feel unseen, mislabeled, or weighed down by the voices of others, or even your own voice, I hope this can help you remember - Christ sees you as you really are, and as you can become.
