He Knows Us

He Knows Us is an original Fox and Pebble painting by Malory Fiso 
 
A little over a year ago, I released the painting He Knows.
I painted it during a season when I didn’t have words for what I was carrying. I didn’t know how to explain it to God or to anyone else. But I found comfort in knowing that Christ knew. He understood the weight, even when I couldn’t explain it myself.
 
I never expected that one painting to reach so many individuals. And I certainly never expected or intended for it to become a series. But as I have been creating new work this year, I felt stopped in my progress and prompted to create this version, now.
 
So I did.
 
I don’t know if it was for me or for so many others, but I felt clearly called to move it to the top of my schedule.
 
Although there are many challenges that feel like mine alone, there are also many that I have carried alongside my husband. Trying to protect our home in a very imperfect world. Losing jobs. Navigating infertility. The list goes on. And through it all, I have come to know that our Savior doesn’t only know me. He knows us.
 
He knows the grief we are carrying together.
He knows the weight of decisions we make for our family.
He knows the effort it takes to seek harmony in our homes, to nurture a marriage while also providing, protecting, and pressing forward.
He knows the conversations we save for after the kids are in bed.
 
This painting is a reflection of my testimony that families are sacred - not because they are perfect, but because of the love, sacrifice, and care that happen within them.
 
Whatever you are facing, and however your family looks, none of it is unseen. He knows your heart, and He is with you as you carry it.

Smaller prints are mailed in a protective stay-flat envelope
 
Large prints are rolled and mailed in a heavy duty mailing tube.
