A reminder that we matter to someone, is something I think each of us need from time to time. 
 
In first century Judea, sparrows were sold for pocket change. Sometimes one was even thrown in for free. They were ordinary and easily overlooked, not admired or celebrated. And yet Christ chose them to teach something meaningful about how God sees us.
 
Whether it’s moments of feeling insignificant, overlooked, unworthy, or even moments when you feel like God is silent and wonder if the one person you can always count on is even listening. Christ reminds us that not even a sparrow can fall without Him noticing. 
 
Regardless of how you feel about yourself in a moment, or how you fear others may perceive you, or how distant He seems - it doesn’t change the truth of how He feels about you or the care He is willing and able to offer you.
 
My testimony is that He knows us. He sees the quiet struggles, the ordinary days, and the unseen prayers. This piece is a reminder to me that we are never forgotten, and that His care is constant and real.
