The House That Built Me
The House That Built Me is an original Fox and Pebble illustration by Malory Fiso
I painted this as a gift to my parents as a reminder and reflection of the love they poured into my childhood home. After both going through painful divorces, this is the home where they both got to rebuild their lives. They both worked so hard to make this a safe haven for us and many many others who spent so much time here. It is where I learned about love, humility, hard work, honesty, and our Savior Jesus Christ.
I am sharing it with all of you, not because you have a personal tie to this specific home, but because of what it represents. A reminder that you can create a sacred, joyful life despite what pain has come before. You can create something that will continue on through generations.
